Tasting note for Sparkling Wine Marina Sparkling Brut:
A fun and casual wine, very pale, clean and transparent and with a very fine bubble.
The coupage of the three varieties gives it a certain complexity but without moving away from the tropical tones (pineapple), green apple, and floral (orange blossom).
Interesting the contribution of Merseguera, an autochthonous variety of the Valencian Community now recovered by several wineries in the area.
Optimum service temperature: 6° C.
A pairing: Taboulé marroquí.
Ingredients: A bag of couscous, a little butter, 1 tomato, 1 shallot, 1 small green pepper, a few sprigs of good grass, salt and pepper, extra virgin olive oil.
Elaboration:
- Cook the couscous and drain well.
- Mix it still hot with the butter so that the grains are separated.
- Chop the tomato, shallot and pepper in small pieces and add.
- Finely chop the good grass and add. Season to taste and sprinkle with olive oil. Mix well. It is an original and refreshing salad in summer.
Delicious!
Bocopa arose at the end of the 80s, the fruit of the union of several Alicante cooperatives that bet for the sale of bottled wine and its own brand.
It has been a recurrent phenomenon in the Spanish Levante, where it has been over half a century of selling bulk to produce bottled wines with great value for money that have been very well received by consumers. Their sparkling wines were a "revolution" at the time and they are still very appreciated wines and a striking image.
