Aguardiente de Orujo Terras Celtas
Pomace brandy Terras Celtas from Pazo de Valdomiño. It is made with brandies from white grape bagasse from the O Rosal area, Galicia. Colorless and bright with silver sparkles, aromas of white fruit and notes of tigernut along with fresh nuances of lemon verbena and hay.
Developer: Pazo de Valdomiño.
Alcoholic degree: 40°.
Optimum service temperature: 6° C.
Peculiarities of the elaboration: Pazo de Valdomiño is dedicated to the elaboration of liqueurs and traditional liqueurs of Galicia. It is located in the valley of O Rosal, at the mouth of the river Miño, heart of the Rías Baixas, with which it is natural that it stands out for obtaining liqueurs, especially from Albariño grape bagasse. They also produce liqueurs of herbs, fruits or coffee, traditional in the region.
Specifically, Aguardiente de Orujo Terras Celtas is made with bagasse liqueurs (solid matter, skins and pips, obtained after pressing the grapes to obtain wine) of white grapes from the O Rosal area, covered by the Orujo de Galicia geographical indication.
Tasting note:
Colorless and luminous with silver sparkles.
It presents vinous aromas of bagasse, ripe white fruit (roasted apple) wrapped in notes of tiger nut and fresh nuances of lemon verbena and freshly cut hay.
It is soft at the entrance and in the step, with a good balance between the richness of alcohol and the marked aromas that linger in the mouth. End of good persistence.
