Peculiarities of the elaboration of Vermouth Yzaguirre Rojo Clásico: In the purest tradition of Catalan vermouths, it is made from white wines from different Spanish areas. Then, more than 80 varieties of base herbs were macerated for two months in a hydroalcoholic solution.
Tasting notes for Vermouth Yzaguirre Rojo Clásico:

Dark mahogany color with amber reflections, clean, bright, and with little marked tear.

On the nose, we find aromas of aromatic herbs of the field, spices (cardamom, vanilla) and mild balsamic notes.

On the palate, it is sweet but balanced with a remarkable acidity and bitter sensations typical of classic Italian vermouth. Persistent and intense finish.
Uses in cocktails: Cóctel Belle Époque.
Ingredients: 1/4 red vermouth, 1/4 bitter Bíter, 3/8 cointreau, 1/8 gin, very cold cava (to fill the glass), ice cubes.

- It is served in flute glass, filling with this mixture 2/3 of the glass and finishing filling it with very cold champagne.
- Garnish with a mint leaf and a cherry.
Delicious!
