An illusion back in the '70s was the origin of everything. José María Ruiz, a young man from Segovia full of interest and curiosities, started what today is this great project of the Ribera del Duero linked to the Ruiz Aragoneses family.
The winery has a particularly innovative fermentation system, designed by the winemaker Basilio Izquierdo in Rioja, and adapted to these facilities in the Ribera del Duero. This innovative system is based on the use of a bridge crane and a small tank called OVI, which, when filled by gravity, is lifted to the same inlet of the destination tank.
