The gin is an English distillate derived from the Dutch Genever or Jenever, whose alcohol content varies between 43° and 47°. It is obtained by distillation of the barley without malting, rectified with juniper berries and aromatized with flowers, roots, spices and herbs that give the characteristic aroma to each brand: these natural fragrances are called "botanicals".
Various methods and essences are used with or without redistillation. In these operations, the nebrinas can partially ferment, so that in the distillate part of the alcohol can come from them, or the vaporized alcohol is passed between the nebulas and other flavorings.
