Peculiarities of the elaboration: The Italian grappa is one of the most traditional drinks of the northern area of Italy and is considered the oldest distillate of all known. Grappa is the name with which it is known in Italy, Argentina, Uruguay and in the Italian Switzerland to the pomace liqueur, liqueur with alcoholic graduation that varies between 38 and 60 degrees, obtained by distillation of grape marc, that is, the parts solid of the vintage that do not have use in the previous elaboration of the wine (the grappa began to produce to avoid the waste of the grape).

The Grappa Libarna Invecchiata is obtained through traditional methods (steam distillation of selected wines) and then matured in Slovenian oak barrels for one year. The House was founded in 1820, so it is considered one of the oldest and most recognized grappas in Italy.

Sight-Vinos-Covigran

Greenish yellow color, clean and bright.

Nose-Vinos-Covigran

It has good intensity, very vegetal, with aromas of aromatic and medicinal herbs and memories of noble wood.

Mouth-Vinos-Covigran

It is sweet and fine, at the entrance it does not seem to have 40º, although the finish is warm, with a vinous aftertaste of bagasse. Balanced, powerful and at the same time elegant.
