Vino Espumoso Codorníu Cuvée Original Brut Nature
Codorníu Cuvée Original Brut Nature sparkling wine, cava produced by Bodega Codorníu. This cava was created as a tribute to the first cava produced by Josep Raventós in 1872 with the native varieties Macabeo, Xarel-lo and Parellada.

Pale yellow with very fine and persistent bubbles.

Fruit aromas (Granny Smith apple) and floral aromas such as lemon verbena, with sweet notes of fresh almonds.

Balanced, fresh, creamy and long-lasting.
Optimum service temperature: 6° C.
A pairing: Fajitas Mexicanas.
Ingredients: 2 chicken breasts, 2 red peppers, 2 green peppers, 2 yellow peppers, 1 red onion, 2 white onions, Mexican seasoning, 8 wheat tortillas, oil, salt.
Elaboration:
- Cut the chicken breasts into strips and sear them in a large frying pan with a little oil. Once marked, set aside.
- Cut the different types of peppers and onions into strips.
- In the same frying pan where we browned the chicken, fry the vegetables, adding a little salt.
- When the vegetables are cooked, add Mexican seasoning to taste. The amount will depend on the desired level of spiciness.
- Stir the vegetables and the seasoning for a few minutes over low heat so that all the flavours blend.
- Add the chicken strips to the vegetable pan and stir again. When everything is mixed together, remove from the heat. Serve in a bowl so that everyone at the table can have as much as they want.
- Heat the tortillas and serve them on a plate.
- The tortillas and the bowl with the vegetables and chicken are ready, now we just need to assemble the fajitas by placing the chicken and vegetables in a tortilla.
